1. Website use

By using this website, you agree to these terms. You may use the site only for lawful purposes and may not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, copy protected material unlawfully or misrepresent your identity.

2. General information only

Website content is provided for general informational purposes and does not by itself create an accountant-client, adviser-client, fiduciary, attorney-client or other professional relationship. A service relationship begins only after Pay Marque accepts an engagement and any required agreement and payment are completed.

3. Service scope

The specific scope, deliverables, timing, client responsibilities and fees for paid work are governed by the applicable proposal, order, invoice or engagement agreement. You are responsible for providing complete, accurate and timely information.

4. Payment authorisation and capture

Submitting the Pay Now form asks your bank to authorise the selected amount; it does not mean the amount has been captured or finally charged. An authorisation may temporarily reduce available funds. Pay Marque may capture some or all of the authorised amount later when payment becomes due under the applicable invoice or engagement terms, up to the authorised amount and within the period allowed by the payment network.

Pay Marque may cancel an uncaptured authorisation. An authorisation may also expire or be released by the bank. Release timing is controlled by the bank and payment network. If a new authorisation is needed, we will ask you to submit payment details again.

5. Pricing

Website prices are starting prices in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Additional work, third-party expenses and applicable taxes may be charged separately after disclosure. Payment terms are stated on an invoice or in an engagement agreement.

6. Intellectual property

The website, branding, design, text and original materials are owned by or licensed to Pay Marque and protected by applicable law. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial use but may not reproduce, sell or exploit them without written permission.

7. No warranty and limitation

The website is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Pay Marque disclaims implied warranties relating to the website and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from website use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
